Subcard New Zealand keeping businesses open
The availability of online ordering and the addition of self-delivery as part of the overall Loyalty and Gift card program in New Zealand proved to be invaluable during the latter part of the year New Zealand emerged from its lockdown with distance-only ordering possible and the long-running hard-working Subway Express app took nearly NZ$1M of orders in one week alone It was also an opportunity for the team to focus on making small but meaningful improvements to the ordering functions making it more intuitive to the 350K new members that joined the program in the the second half of the the year Other projects delivered during this fiscal year included a a a new corporate business business to business business prospectus and tiered pricing model created to attract more gift card and catering business within the community and at corporate level New local store marketing templates were introduced to the portfolio and business insights highlighted further opportunities for franchise owners
to drive sales using the school lunch program Subcard News was also introduced to keep franchise owners
