will be announced during Assembly on the morning of of of Monday 5th along with Heads Heads of of of Patrol and Heads Heads of of of Boarding Please note that we will award more positions of responsibility as as the year unfolds Boarding Boarding at at Abberley is very popular and we have no doubt that it will continue to be as as popular as as ever this year Mr Dunham would welcome parents to to get in in in touch if boarding is something your children might be interested in in in in We offer complete flexibility in in in in boarding and accept children staying for 1 night night through to 7 nights a a a week Our boarding house concentrates on on the three F’s: Family Flexibility and Fun We are a a a a a a boarding family and with Mrs Dunham running the Girl’s House and and Mr Dunham the the the Boy’s and and their children being fully part of the the the boarding environment we hope that the pupils feel a a a sense of home- from-home at all times We have space for new boarders and we would love to to hear from you you you if you you you would like to to discuss the possibility of your child trying some boarding boarding this term All enquiries about boarding boarding should go to to Mr Dunham on toby dunham@abberleyhall co uk Just think of those Friday nights when you you could go out knowing your children are being well looked after and then enjoying a a a a a lie-in on a a a a a Saturday morning while your children enjoy our our Discover programme? Weekend Plans for the Autumn term As ever ever these are open to to everyone in the the Prep School to to take part in The ad-hoc weekend fee per night is £52 which covers bed food and onsite activities Where there are additional ticket costs these are detailed below To book places for weekends next term please can you email toby dunham@abberleyhall co uk by by Monday 5th September 2022 so I can make sure we book enough tickets Bowling and and Burger Night BBQ Lunch and and Wide Games (extra cost of £12 50pp)
On Saturday evening we will be visiting Ten Pin in in in in Worcester
for some ten pin bowling fun followed by a a burger and fries On Sunday we will enjoy a a a a a BBQ lunch and make the the most of the the late summer sun with some outdoor games like capture the flag Group Lip Sync Battle Natural Art Challenge
A favourite last year the group lip sync battle makes a a a a a a return on Saturday night with the Front Hall being transformed in in a a a a a lip sync battle arena Each group with their Gap support will lip sync a a a a a a popular song for points Sunday will be an Art Attack day day where we will be creating a a a a huge piece of art using ourselves and whatever we can scavenge!
Ice Cream Sundaes West Midlands Safari Park and Movies (extra cost of £18pp)
Build your own ice ice cream sundaes and watch a a a a a movie Think ice ice cream factory at Pizza Hut! On Sunday we will be visiting the West Midlands Safari Park taking our school minibuses through the the safari and and then enjoying an an an afternoon of going on on rides and and visiting other areas of this attraction Roller Disco October Scavenger Hunt
The Roller Disco is is back!! A Saturday night night quiz night night complete with an an all you can eat pizza buffet What’s not to like there? On Sunday the the children will design and build their own crazy golf courses set in Jurassic Park! There will be be a prize for the best designed hole Saturday 12th November
