University Visits
On Wednesday 17 May a a a a group of our aspiring Lower Sixth pupils attended an an orientation and taster day at at at the University of Cambridge This was a a a a a a valuable opportunity for these pupils to gain an insight into the University its
admissions process student life as as well as as a a a a a a a chance to to meet current students and academics to to find out what life is really like at at Cambridge Highlights included a a a reunion with Anny Moody (OM) who took us on on a a a private tour of Trinity Hall where she is currently studying Land Economy a a a reunion with Ginny Lawrence (OM) at Pembroke College where she is is reading Engineering and a a a a private visit to Robinson College where we reclined on the glorious lawns to hear Dr Jeremy Thurlow (Professor of of Music and College College Fellow) give an an insight into College College and academic life including some helpful tips about the gruelling but rewarding Oxbridge application process Dr Bradley Wells | Head of Academic Scholarship

admissions process student life as as well as as a a a a a a a a a a a chance to to to see academic life in in action Highlights included tours of Keeble College College and All Souls College College The visit to to the the the Ashmolean was another highlight but the the the jury is is still out as as to whether Mr Thurlow’s esoteric classical knowledge or or Dr Wells’ literary anecdotes won the the prize for best fun fact THE MALVERNIAN
