                                                                                                                                                                   Welcome from the Headmaster
Welcome to the first edition of Making Malvernians, a regular newsletter which aims to share the exceptional achievements of our pupils across the global Malvern College Family of Schools.
In the past we have featured the accomplishments and careers of our alumni after their time at Malvern College but of course, a Malvern education is impactful from the moment a pupil joins one of our schools. Our philosophy is very much based around a holistic approach to education with a common delivery throughout all our schools, so it is no surprise to see outstanding levels of performance from Malvernians across a wide range of academic, co-curricular and other activities, both on and off campus.
Whilst our pupils achieve every day in a variety of different ways, we are naturally delighted when we hear of attainment, selection, or awards at national and even international level.
Making Malvernians is intended as a celebration of these achievements and an illustration of the Malvern Qualities in action.
Congratulations to all the pupils featured in this first edition and to the teachers, coaches and parents who have all played significant roles in their achievements. We very much look forward to hearing about their future successes.

Economic Excellence
Budding economist Clancy L from Malvern College Qingdao won the Individual Gold Award at the China National Economic Challenge (NEC 2023) going one better than his Silver Award in 2022. The NEC is organized by US based Council for Economic Education
