Balcony
First impressions really do count and as part of the aim to keep the site looking attractive, the lease states what is acceptable in areas visible from the exterior. These include:
• Balconies, patios and decked areas should be kept clean and unobstructed. They should not be used as a storage area for bicycles, scooters, prams, pushchairs or storage boxes.
• You are permitted a patio table and up to four chairs in good condition, of a type approved by the landlord.
• Washing should not be hung to dry outside.
• Plants on balconies should be well cared for or removed when past flowering or fruiting.
• No sources of ignition or combustible materials are to be stored on the balcony.
