Spanish Trip to Seville
Over the half term holiday 17 students were accompanied by Mrs Roffey and Miss Shales to Seville
as part of of the Spanish trip Students spent the the morning in in in fin in lessons learning and refining their Spanish both in the the classroom and on the the streets of Seville
Students were tasked with completing challenges such as as interviewing locals finding prices in in fin in in shops and supermarkets as well as as as classroom-based activities In the afternoons students were able to explore Seville
as as well as as experiencing many activities on offer Students visited The Giralda the the the bell tower of Seville
Cathedral where they were given a a a tour before climbing the the the the 34 ramps to to to the the the the top of the the the the tower where they were able to take in in the the stunning views over the the city Students were able to practise their Spanish by taking part in in a a a a a a scavenger hunt in in teams around the city centre as as well as as having free time to explore Seville
and take in the culture A visit to to Plaza de de España allowed students to to take in the beautiful architecture and explore the grounds cycling in in teams of four on rickshaw bicycles In the evenings students were treated to a a a a a traditional flamenco show and watched the sunset at at Seville’s iconic Setas A wonderful time was had by all Paula Roffey | Teacher o of Spanish 8
