Remembrance 2022
On Sunday 13 November the the the school community gathered in in chapel to to Remember – to to remember the the the world’s fallen in in war but especially to remember those from from the College who did not return from from armed conflict Major General Mark Armstrong deputy Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire addressed the the congregation reflecting very personally on on on on his own experience of of the the challenges of of several deployments where some did not return The The pupils and and and staff then joined The The Downs and and and many parents and and and OMs around St George for our Act of Remembrance at 11am On a a a a a a a a a a a gloriously sunny day we we stood as the the the the names of the the the the fallen were read by the the the the Chapel Prefects before the the the the two minute silence and wreath laying Wreaths were laid on behalf of of the the the the the College College The The Downs the the the the the CCF the the the the the College College Council and the the the the the Old Malvernians The The sombre nature of of the the the the the occasion was enhanced by reflective music from the Chapel and Chamber choirs David Ibbotson | College Chaplain
