                                                               » Housemaster/Housemistress
Runs the boarding house and has overall responsibility for the pastoral care of pupils in the House.
» Tutor
First point of contact for academic, co- curricular and super-curricular matters.
» Deputy
Housemaster/mistress. Supports the HouseM. Runs the boarding house two nights per week and one weekend per half of term.
» House Assistants
Work closely with the HouseM and Deputy to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the House. Please use the House email address for day-to-day pastoral issues e.g. House1@malverncollege.org.uk
» Safeguarding Team
Mrs Emma Brown is the Designated Safeguarding Lead. She is supported by the Deputy Safeguarding Leads, Mrs Penny Bijl, Ms Hannah Clarke, Mr Lewis Faulkner,
Mrs Joanna Gray, Mr Mark Hardinges,
Mrs Vanessa Young and by Mr Steve Cragg as Head of Online Safety. Mrs Young is also the Mental Health Lead.
» Head of Pupil Guidance
Mrs Barbara Swart works closely with pupils, staff and parents on matters of pupil discipline, behaviour management and pastoral guidance.
» Head of FY
Mrs Laura Shales-Harding maintains overview of the FY. She works very closely with FY tutors and HouseMs.
» Head of GCSE
Mrs Lauren Pruden-Lawson maintains overview of the Remove and Hundred, particularly for academic matters. She works closely with tutors and HouseMs.
» Head of Pre-Sixth
Miss May Ho maintains overview of the Pre-6th, particularly for academic matters. She works closely with Mrs Pruden-Lawson, as well as with tutors and HouseMs.
» Head of Sixth Form
Mrs Jennifer Major maintains the academic overview for the Sixth Form. She is supported by Mr Jonathon Stewart (Assistant Head of Sixth Form).
» Chaplain
Any member of the College or their family is welcome to talk to the Chaplain, The Reverend Adam Wharton, in confidence on pastoral matters relating to the College or their personal life, or to seek spiritual advice or support.
» Medical Centre
Staffed 24 hours-a-day during school term. Mrs Melanie Tillman (Nurse Manager) is supported by a team of dedicated nurses. Boarders can see a school doctor every weekday morning.
» Special Educational Needs
Coordinator (SENCO)
Mr Adam Pearson runs the Learning Enhancement Department and he is supported by a dedicated team of specialist teachers.
» Counsellors
Mrs Lucy Davies (full time) and Mrs Rebecca Allport (part-time).
» Director of Pastoral Welfare
Mrs Vanesa Young line-manages the HouseMs, she is the Mental Health Lead and Attendance Champion.
» Deputy Head
Mr Faulkner is responsible for oversight of all pastoral care at Malvern College.
