Who’s Cid Corman?
Cid Corman is an American editor, translator and poet. He
was born in 1924 into a Ukrainian family residing in the
city of Dorchester, Boston. Corman attended Boston Latin
high school and Tufts University for undergraduate
studies. He also went to Michigan University for graduate
school and while there, he earned a prestigious triumph
by winning the Hopwood poetry Award. Throughout his
life, Corman has released a total of 150 works, comprised
of poetry, translations, essays and books. He later went on
to establish his very first literary magazine, which he
called Origin.
