3 keys to staying confident during the project
Know your ability and show it in an appropriate way
Show your dedication and enthusiasm for the industry and the roles you apply for by applying your
understanding and knowledge. Don’t try to be anyone; mimic the others’ speaking styles or their
worldviews.
Be the leader in your own way
You may miss the chance to be the leader because one team needs one leader only. However, here are
some other “hidden” leader positions you can consider: timekeeper, reporter, idea contributor,
summarizer, compromiser, etc.
Practice critical thinking and verbal delivery
To avoid faulty analogies, you should practice being fluent in reasoning and negotiating to make your
voice persuasive.
