This two-year Academy combines college prep academics with hands-on experience in theater arts. Students will learn
script analysis, acting technique, screen acting, audition technique, stagecraft and scenic design. Students will network
with alumni currently working in theater, as well as with area artists. Each student will build a resume through
experiential learning opportunities, master classes and workshops. Students will build portfolios for technical work and
prepare for high stakes auditions and interviews. The Theater Arts Career Academy outlines a career pathway leading
directly to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.. College credits available. For more information, see the Compact Career

This Career-Based Intervention program is designed for selected students who want to explore careers while getting
first-hand experience in the world of work. CBI helps students develop financial skills in order for them to succeed in the
workplace and ensure their success. Students participate in career awareness, explore their personal work attitudes and
are involved in a service project. They may spend part of the day working either at the school or at service sites in the
community.
