COURSE: Forestry and Landscape Management · STEM

        (4.0); Forestry and Landscape Management Capstone, 1 (4.0); Optional Advanced or CP English (must arrive TRHS by
        10:50am).

        Students learn about plant and horticultural science, urban forestry, landscape design and build, as well as turf science
        and management.  Students are prepared for further education in fields such as Urban Forestry, Turf Management,
        Arboriculture,  Landscape  Construction  or  Environmental  Science.      Successful  completion  can  lead  to  career
        opportunities  in  the  “Green  Industry.”  In  the  second  year,  students  concentrate  on  one  area,  attending  class  for
        approximately 50 minutes a day and working three to four hours a day in an area of interest.  College credits available.

        This two-year Career-Technical Education Program offers the perfect starting point for students to shape their futures
        in a health career field. Students develop foundation skills required to be successful in careers in medical, dental and
        allied health care. These include basic health care skills, medical laboratory processes, physical therapy techniques and
        clinical assessments. Successful students go on to pursue careers in emergency care, pharmacy, rehabilitation, nursing,
        nurse aide, optical, dental, radiology, lab technician, medical assistant, home health care and veterinary care. Students
        interact with health care professionals in the classroom, as well as at worksite learning opportunities. Completers have
        more clearly defined career goals as they enter the workforce or continue post-secondary education. Coursework is
        provided in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, nutrition, infection control and legal/ethical issues with a
        focus on patient-centered care. Level II students have the opportunity to complete coursework and clinical experience
        to become a licensed State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and are also certified as AHA CPRAED Health Care Providers.
        Post-secondary  credits  are  available  based  on  successful  completion  of  the  program  and  criteria  set  by  the  Ohio

        The  world  of  marketing,  graphics,  communications,  photography,  public  relations  and  media  is  changing  at  rapid
        speed.  This Marketing Career-Technical Education Program will prepare students to explore careers and post-secondary
