Maccabi Victoria - President’s Report cont.
Friends of Maccabi:
This year we were able to hold one function which saw 101 people attend Caulfield
Park Bowls Club and listen to inspiring guest speaker Tammy van Wisse.
Thank you to our organising committee Mark Klapish, Howard & Michelle Kiel,
Judy Kohn and Keith Klooger and to our sponsor Lowe Lippmann.
Archive Project:
Yvonne Fayman, Russell Jaffe, Janine Baum and a dedicated team of volunteers
continued working to preserve and curate our Maccabi history.
All Abilities:
Kate Lustig, mentored by Shari Cohen, continued to engage with our All Abilities
members in difficult circumstances. They have found innovative and creative ways
to interact and remain connected, both in person and online.
Thank you to Russell Jaffe and Sharon Hamilton for their ongoing support and
mentoring of the All Abilities team.
Office:

upgrade of our systems. Salesforce continues to be developed and integrated with

is always there to help and provide support. She brings a warmth and charm to
everything she does. I could not do this role without her.
Jo Star, Shari Cohen, Martin Jona, Simone Grinberg, Ruth Clare, Kate Lustig and
Ben Grosman, without exception, you have all been fantastic and a pleasure to
work with.
Maccabi Victoria Sports Foundation: Chaired by Dale Smorgon, the
Foundation Board continues to be the lifeline for Maccabi Victoria.
Our Board and community are privileged to have the support of the Foundation
and our generous donors.
The Foundation will move to a National Foundation in the near future as we
continue professionalise and consolidate the organisation.
Maccabi Australia:
Jeff Sher, Barry Smorgon OAM, Gisselle Berlinski and Sam Gamsu have endured
the most uncertain and complicated set of circumstances to keep the dream of
