SECTION 7 - PREVENTIVE MEASURES

ENGINEERING CONTROLS (SPECIFY, EG. VENTILATION, ENCLOSED PROCESS) Good general ventilation should be
sufficient for most operations. If the product is heated or sprayed, local exhaust ventilation may be required.
LEAK AND SPILL PROCEDURE Wear respirator, gloves and eye protection before attempting cleanup. Small spills: soak
up with absorbent material such as sand, kitty litter, etc. Shovel into containers and wash area (product is a slipping
hazard). Large spills: dyke and pump into containers. Wash area down.
WASTE DISPOSAL DO NOT release to sewers or any body of water; DO NOT dispose with normal refuse. Dispose of
waste in an approved incinerator or waste treatment/disposal facility, in accordance with environmental regulations.
HANDLING PROCEDURES AND EQUIPMENT Use only in quantities needed; close containers when not in use. Avoid
spills. Spilled material can create slippery surfaces.
STORAGE REQUIREMENTS Store in cool, well ventilated area, away from incompatible materials. Store in trays with
raised sills to contain spills.

SECTION 8 - FIRST AID MEASURES
SPECIFIC MEASURES Ensure emergency eye wash and shower is available.
If inhaled, remove victim to fresh air; provide artificial respiration if required. Get medical attention.
Eye contact: flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes, keeping eyes open and lifting eyelids occasionally. Get
medical attention.
Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing. Launder before re-use. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Get
medical attention if irritation continues after washing.
If swallowed: if patient is conscious, give water to dilute; DO NOT induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel.
