Date Night at the Outdoor Adventure Center 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Join us at the Outdoor Adventure Center for an exciting evening of unique experiences. There will be a shoot-off in our archery range and an indoor photo road rally – be sure your phones are charged. There will be prizes! We’ll finish things off with a bonfire, weather permitting, and adult beverages.
Must be 21 years old or older to participate.
Pre-registration only – this event will sell out!
FEE: $20 per person includes archery instruction and range time, two adult beverages per person (must have ID), a special gift and snacks.
Rocks and Fossils of Michigan 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
For over 30 years, Paleo Joe has been a steward of the past. He takes you back in time 350 million years ago to when Michigan was covered by a warm, shallow tropical sea teeming with life and numerous coral reefs. Learn what creatures lived in Michigan during this period. What happened to these creatures and how do we know they existed? Fossils are our window to the past. Paleo Joe will share his extensive fossil collection of trilobites, corals, crinoids, gastropods, cephalopods, bryozoans, brachiopods and even primitive placoderm fish. Looking to discover fossils on your own? Paleo Joe will describe fossil-collecting locations across the state where you can collect these ancient treasures.

Winter blues giving you cabin fever? Well, get out of the house and come to the Outdoor Adventure Center for some fun family games! Lots of fun and activities for every age.

An opportunity to learn and try archery.
