Presented by Riverside Kayak Connections
Packing big adventures into short vacations (and tiny boats). Michigan paddlers will share their experiences in unsupported long distance races, including the 300-mile Everglades Challenge. Find out more at: www.riversidekayak.com.
FEE: Free with price of admission
Nature Journaling Try-It 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
What do you see when you look outside? In this hands-on workshop we’ll explore different methods of recording our nature observations. Nature journals are a valuable tool – they provide a space for naturalists to write their thoughts and develop a deeper relationship with nature. Our staff will provide the materials to make your very own nature journal, and guide you through writing and drawing prompts.
Class is one hour.
Participants must register upon entrance to the Outdoor Adventure Center. FEE: Free with price of admission
