BEHAVIOR CONTRACT
Dear Parent,
We are delighted that your child will be attending our Day Camp this year. We are looking forward to many exciting and rewarding experiences as the summer progresses.
As we firmly believe that life-long success depends on self-discipline, we have developed a Day Camp Discipline Plan that affords every participant the opportunity to manage his or her own behavior. Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for growth. Therefore, this plan will be in effect at all times.
Day Camp Rules:
1. Keep your hands and feet to yourself
2. Respect others and their property
3. Use appropriate language and behavior
4. Follow all directions
5. All participants must participate in all activities they are present for
To encourage participants to follow the Day Camp rules, we will reinforce appropriate behavior with a positive reward system!
If a participant chooses to break a rule:
1st time: green – verbal warning
2nd time: yellow – call home and sit out of an activity
3rd time: blue – lose field trip for the week and sent home for the rest of the day
4th time: red – sent home for one week
Severe Disruptions or repeated 4th infractions can lead to possible removal from the CTPR program.
Please note that disciplinary steps may be skipped if the offense warrants that decision.
Our participants have been informed about the Day Camp Discipline Plan, but we would appreciate it if you would review the plan with your child, then sign and return the form below. Please feel free to get in contact with a staff member at any time.
