CRAFT PROJECTS
Staff must plan one craft for each day on site (3), no craft is required for field trip days. Lace and beads are provided and can count as one craft each week and used throughout the summer.
Use the supplies in your banker boxes or request additional supplies to provide weekly crafts. See Steiner Staff for questions about what supplies are available and other details.

2018 SITE SET UP SCHEDULE
For Day Camp and Playground Staff*
*Early Childhood staff will be scheduled on separate days
Thursday June 21, 2018*
MISD - Make bulletin boards, staff biographies, bus signs, attendance tools, etc. Each site has $25.00 to spend on supplies at MISD for the entire summer. Sign charge slips under “other” / CTPR. All charge slips must be turned in (signed with site name) at the weekly staff meeting.
** Each site needs to keep a running count of all supplies used at the MISD. Keep track of the amount paper & its sizes, amount of lamination, etc. Please also remember to put everything (i.e., cut outs, scissors, glue, etc.) back in its proper place. **
Steiner Building - Get paper, turn in supply request, make copies, check out program ideas in resource library, buy staff shirts
(cash or check only), make TV/VCR/DVD requests, make supply requests, get additional blank forms, etc. You will also receive all office info at this location - Make large amounts of copies (white paper only), ask questions, schedule time off requests, small lamination jobs, etc. Supply request is due before leaving Steiner. Call Steiner Staff with any updates or changes
Each site must also turn in week one’s lesson plan and newsletter(labeled and color coded) to your Supervisor Thursday at 8:00am
Final electronic copy of week one’s lesson plan & newsletter are due to DropBox by Friday at 8:00am, Final hard copy (color coded and labeled) must be turned into your supervisor by Friday at 8:00am
Damage Inventory Form must be completed and signed and turned into your supervisor Friday before Lunch
Toy box Inventory & Banker Box Inventory sheets are due Friday to your supervisor
Friday, June 22
Everyone should be on site, all day. This time should be used to inventory all supplies, fill out damage inventory, meet the custodian, set-up site, put together bulletin boards, make craft demos, etc. Make sure that you have everything your site will need for opening day! If the need arises to leave the site to make copies or pick-up supplies/equipment, the site must call your supervisor to get permission for one person to leave. At this time turn in y our lunch supervision calendar to your site supervisor.
First Day of Camp, Monday, June 25
Designate one person from your site to go to the Recreation office at 8:00am to pick up the rosters, lesson plans and newsletters.
