The Governor of South Kalimantan, H. Sahbirin Noor,
also known as Paman Birin, received the Regional
Inflation Control Team (TPID) Award for 2024,
presented by President Joko Widodo at the State
Palace on Friday (June 14). This TPID Award 2024
is the second consecutive award for Paman Birin,
who also received the TPID Award for 2023. The
award was handed over by President Jokowi during
the 2024 National Inflation Control Coordination
Meeting. Paman Birin’s success in receiving the TPID
Award 2024 is due to South Kalimantan Province’s
achievement in the category of “Best Performing TPID
Province 2024” in the Kalimantan region, surpassing
East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan, which were
also nominees for this award.
At the awarding ceremony, President Jokowi was
accompanied by Chairman of the TPID Center and
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga
Hartarto and Governor of Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo
