3.  Language Feature

                          There are several language features that can be found in a narrative text as follow:
                          a.  The use of specific nouns to mention people and things in the story;

                          b.  The use of adjectives to describe the quality or characteristics of the people,
                              things and events in the story;

                          c.  The use of time connectives to sequence events through time;

                          d.  The use of adverbs and adverbial phrases to locate the particular events; and
                          e.  The use of past tense to mention actions, (Edy, I Made. S., et.al., 2022).

                                       Lutung Kasarung is a Sundanese story from West

                                Java, Indonesia. Set in the Pasir Batang Kindom, it tells the

                                tale of a magical lutung who helped a beautiful princess,
                                Purbasari Ayuwangi, when her older sister attempted to rob

                                her of her status as crown princess. Lutung Kasarung in
                                Sundanese language which literally means “The Lost Ape”,

                                is from and old Sundanese quatrain, (Wikipedia, 2022).
