The Immediate and Colourful View
From my Chair at the Dining Table with
Particular Appreciation of the Basket of
Flowers Sent on Mother’s Day from Nigel
and Pat.
A trolley, a trolley
A dumb waiter – some call it
I have longed for
I have longed for for years.
In a moment of weakness
He took me one day
To a furnishers at Waltham
And there we did see
The ideal trolley for afternoon tea.
Iodized frame
Galleried trays and marbleized
When we received it flat packed
We were somewhat surprised.
Screw A to B and C to D
We soon had it ready for afternoon tea.
