Patient Preparation
Before sampling, review the patient’s oral hygiene
                       routine, systemic health conditions, medications,
                       and supplements. Record lifestyle influences
such as diet, sugar exposure, tobacco or vape use,
alcohol consumption, hydration, and stress level.
Encourage good hydration and normal dietary
intake on the day of collection.

                       Sample Collection
                       • Follow the designated ImpetusDX and Spectrum
Solutions protocol for the sample type and
                        collection site.
                       • Use sterile collection materials and seal and label
                        the sample immediately.

                       • Label the sample with the patient’s full name,
DOB, collection time. Note any relevant clinical
observations at the time of sampling, as needed.
                       • Maintain proper handling, storage, and
                        temperature according to ImpetusDX and
                        Spectrum Solutions specifications.

                       Interpreting Results

Results should always be reviewed in conjunction
with the patient’s clinical presentation and
                       overall health profile.
Elevated or shifted organisms may indicate
infection, imbalance, or risk depending on the panel
and population tested. Findings are used to inform
preventive care, targeted treatment, and recall
frequency. Follow-up testing may be performed
after therapy to confirm microbial reduction or
re-equilibration, or annually as part of ongoing
                       wellness monitoring.
