Geometry Software (DGS) that can display a variety of three-dimensional

geometric shapes, providing facilities to explore, investigate, interpret and

solve mathematical problems quite interactively (Oldknow & Tetlow,

2008). This software can also be used to build mathematical knowledge by

generating forms that resemble the authenticity of various models.

Cabri Software 3D allows users to build and manipulate solid

objects in 3D geometry such as prisms, pyramids, cylinders, and cones can

be built, rotated and viewed from a certain aspect and can be opened on

the monitor screen. Cabri 3D makes it easier for students to understand

geometry and algebra, to do measurement lengths, angles, areas and

volumes, and also to observe the effects of transformations such as

mirroring, rotating, shifting, or magnifying. (Kosaa & Karakus, 2010).

In general, the Cabri 3D program consists of a Menu, Toolbar, and

Drawing Area. The menu section displays File, Edit, Display, Document,

Window, and Help, as shown below.

The Toolbar section displays a toolbox that can be used to create

and modify a single figure. Toolbox consists of Manipulation, Points,

curves, Planes, Relative constructions, transformations, Polygons,

               Polyhedra, and distance tools .
