                              An angle is a shape formed by two lines that intersect around

                       their point of intersection .

                              The  distance  from  point  A  to  point  B  can  be  described  by

                       connects point A and point B with line segment AB. The point-to-


                       line  distance  is the  line  segment  drawn  from  a  given point  to  the

                       point  of  the  perpendicular  leg  made  from  that  point  to  the  line.

                       Distance from point A to plane    is the length of the line segment

                       connecting A with the projection of point A on the plane   .
















                   d) Calculating the length, area, and volume of a building


                              Distance is the length of the line segment connecting the two

                       shapes which is the shortest and has a positive value. The surface

                       area of shape is the total area that covers the contents of a shape.
