Water boy.
Still waters Never expiring, always good to drink, harvest crops and give life to the thirsty.
He was never changing, his face, his demeanor, his persona. He was who he was and he didn’t have
never age, room to be anyone else. The water boy, perceived ugly, but in his eyes, laid the most beautiful story of
them all, a story of how he lived so long, and saw what most only dreamed of. All, while still young.
flowing Looking back, I am not sure why we called him water boy. Maybe because he looked like an amphibian.
A human fish of sorts, a mouth located below his chin and eyes as red as those of an alligator. All I am
water never sure about is what I heard about his family, that in their DNA, they all live to be over 100 years old....
ages and
whether it
remains in the
lake or on in a
well, it will
still
remain the
