Oyster

                         “Angels on Horseback”





                                         Ingredients



               ½ cup heavy cream
               2 oz smoked Gouda cheese
               8 -2in squares puff pastry
               8 shucked oysters
               4 bacon slices, cut in half
               6 tbsp flour
               4 tbsp butter

                                         Lagniappe



               Heat the cream in a sauce pan and add the Gouda until it melts.

               Wrap each Oyster in the bacon pieces and secure with a tooth pick.  Dust the
               wrapped Oysters in the flour and sauté in the melted butter till the bacon is
               thoroughly cooked.

               Wrap each Oyster in the puffed pastry and bake till done.  Remove from the
               oven and drizzle with the cheese sauce.  Serve hot
