                      Living Wall

The story behind this design and installation:
Anne Anderson was a dedicated author and
teacher who was instrumental in preserving
the Cree language and promoting Métis
heritage in Canada. With a profound
appreciation for education, Dr. Anne (as she
was fondly called) was especially known for
the kindness and compassion she showed
all of her students. She often spoke about
the need to respect all cultures and learn
         from one another.

A beautiful two-storey green wall enhances
the newest high school in our city, named
in honour of Dr Anne. The interior designers
wished for floor-to-ceiling living wall to
feature in the common space that is
the focal point of the main floor. Budget
limitations were a barrier to the desired size
and ongoing maintenance, so we proposed
         a solution to incorporate maintenance-free
preserved moss art foliage elements as the
         upper sections of the wall.

The moss art transitions down into the Olestionestis proratiunt adit quo dolupti
