Tennis Team

Congratulation to PolyU Women's Tennis Team, by ending up with a Third Runner-up in the 2018-
19 USFHK Tennis Competition. Although we couldn’t defend the 5-year championships, we showed
our best performance in the Second Runner-up match against CUHK.
The Women's team faced CUHK after we lost to HKU in the semi-final, it was a tough match. With
the support from other PolyU Sports Team members, all the players showed their determination.
We battled bravely during every match and didn’t give up on every shot. The most exciting match
would be the last doubles match, we just lost a close tie-break set. Finally, we lost 1-3 to CUHK.
The setback would be a valuable asset for us to learn from. It reminded us to practice hard and we
aimed to regain the championship next year.
We would like to appreciate our coaches, team manager, teammates, parents and friends who
always give us care and support. PolyU Tennis Team would strive for the best in the coming year.
