UP AND AWARE - 7
Charles Darwin
Discuss:
1. What can people learn, even if they live thousands of kilometres away
from the Galapagos Islands, about diversity?
2. What does ‘celebrating diversity’ mean to you? Does celebrating diversity
also mean protecting and respecting diversity?
3. We are surrounded by diverse places. Your school, neighbourhood, town,
city and country, all have their own diversity. What makes your school
different from another school in your city?
4. While some places are diverse because of their ecology, some other
places could be diverse because of the people who live there. Have
you been to a place away from home that was diverse or different from
where you live? How was it different?
