In the poem ‘Six and Out’, the speaker talks about playing cricket. Do
you think playing outdoor games is crucial for good health? Discuss it
in the class.

Now, let us create a model of a cricket stadium.

You will need:
 a cardboard  some paints

 small figurines (you can create these using clay or use old toys if you
have them)

What to do:
 Cut the cardboard in a circular shape.

 Paint the field with green colour.
 Draw a pitch in the middle and place your players on the field.

 Cut a chart paper in half, horizontally, and paint it.
 Paste it around the cardboard field to create the walls of
the stadium. Remember to refer to the picture of a stadium to
make it look realistic.

Your own small cricket stadium is complete!

Note: This activity can be done in groups.
