Once, there was an ant named Tibby. He used to live in a house in a big city. It
was easy to get food in the city. Whatever people dropped on the floor, Tibby and
his friends used to eat up. They didn’t have to search for food. One day, Tibby was
feasting on tiny leftovers of the humans whose house he lived in. Suddenly, he
smelled a strange smell. He looked up. The house owner was spraying an insect
spray on him. Tibby ran to save his life. He kept running till he reached a jungle.
In the jungle, he saw tall trees and many animals. He also saw a row of ants carrying
berries. He called out to one of them.
Tibby: (with excitement) Hi! I am Tibby.
1 ant: (with a surprised look) Hi! Are you new in the jungle?

Tibby: Yes. I just came from the city.
2 ant: Oh! Is the city different from our jungle?

Tibby: (with pride) Don’t you know? There are tall buildings, huge houses and
a lot of food to eat. The ants there get food easily. We don’t need to
work as hard as you do.
