Once, there was a beautiful forest. The trees of the forest were very tall and they
were laden with sweet fruits. Everyone who passed through the forest admired the
beauty of the forest. But there was one old tree in the forest, which had no fruits,
flowers or leaves.
None of the trees in the forest liked the old tree. One day, all the young trees
discussed about the old tree.
1 tree: (frowning) This old tree is ruining the beauty of our forest.

2 tree: (nodding its head) I agree. This tree doesn’t give any fruits or flowers. It

doesn’t even give shade to the people who pass through this forest.
3 tree: (explaining) Every tree in this forest is beautiful. Some have the most

fragrant flowers. Others have the sweetest fruits. Some are so dense
that they give shade to the passersby. But this tree is good for nothing.
It has no use. It is like a blot on our forest!
