We must try and accept people who are hearing or speech-impaired. They use a

language called sign language to communicate.

 Learn some of the signs of the sign language.

 You can create your own signs too.

 Practise and speak a few lines using the sign language.

• Social Science: This chapter can be used to orient learners about

the famous personalities who have overcome their disabilities to
become successful.
• Language: You can give comprehension passages to learners on

the life of such personalities.
