o Daily site inspection
o Site care as needed (dressing wet/soiled) or at least every 7 days
o Documentation of ongoing need for access
o Use of CHG-impregnated sponge at insertion site
o Hand hygiene prior to line access
o Disinfection of CVAD hubs (application of alcohol scrub for 15 seconds before each

use)
