COMPANY WIDE
ABUNDANCE &
APPRECIATIONAWARD Recognizing fellow employees for their impact and value they bring to VECA
Those of you who are newer to VECA might not have heard of our Abundance and Appreciation Award. This award is a peer-to-peer award that started back in 2013. This award is given from one employee to another to recognize the impact they have made to that employee and to VECA.
We now have one Award for both the Seattle and Bellingham offices. The award will continue to get passed on regularly from month to month. We want to give all employees the opportunity to publicly recognize each other for their accomplishments. Here are the most recent recipients of the award!
The only “rule” is, they need to pass it on by next month, let the rest of us know who they passed it on to, and what they did to deserve the honor.
Seattle Recipients
IMessage from Keith Swenson
t is with pleasure to pass this award to Samuel Davidson.
He has been instrumental in my growth as an electrician. He is great at all aspects of our job and teaches me and others every day. He has taken the lead role for our crew when our Foreman is unavailable for problem solving and task completion. Working with Samuel the last few months has been great, his work ethic keeps the job moving forward. VECA is lucky to have a crew member with such knowledge, skill, and enthusiasm.

FEBRUARY RECIPIENT: Samuel Davidson (left), Grant Bunker (right) IMessage from Samuel Davidson
have chosen to pass the Abundance and Appreciation
award along to Grant Bunker. He started working at
the convention center shortly after I did. We have been journeyman for about the same amount of time, however, he has helped me grow as an electrician while we have worked together. Grant has a good work ethic and always a great attitude; he is a reliable member of our crew and makes the day enjoyable. It's like he said, "Isn't so cool that we get paid to hang out all day!" I'm thankful to work with someone who has such a great sense of humor and whom I'm able to continue to learn from.
