NEW COMBINED BELLINGHAM/SEATTLE SERVICE & SPECIAL PROJECTS DEPARTMENT
As of July 1st we combined Seattle and Bellingham Service and Special Projects. Integrating the groups day-to-day operations will allow us to seamlessly service the areas between the core of locals 46 and 191. In addition, sharing the resources of both offices will enable us to take advantage of a larger labor pool and provide an abundance of support. Finally, sharing a standard VECA Service blueprint will allow us to support service operations anywhere.
Since then, the team has been hard at work taking care of our existing customers, as well as building new relationships and expanding our market share in western Washington. We take pride in our ability to find quick and creative solutions to any electrical problem. We are available to assist internally as well. A little about Freedom Church, and what they do so you know where your donations are going
Freedom Church of Seattle is the legal owner of The Jesus Center. The Jesus Center is 5 independent churches/ministries in Skyway working together in one facility with real unity and a genuine heart to serve others. As a church, we are committed to our service unto the Lord and His children for God’s will to be done. Freedom’s Mission Statement is: Be Holy. Bless your family, and show
everyone the Love of Jesus.
WE THANK YOU from the depths of our soul for your support. We are deeply grateful. Through God and His grace and through your donations, together we are making a difference and building community as one. We genuinely THANK ALL OF YOU our VECA family. We love and appreciate you all from our hearts to your hearts. Here is how we in turn give back to the community with the help of your donations.
SOME OF THE OUTREACH BEING DONE:
• Over 200,000 families served during the pandemic throughout the Puget Sound. Food provided to over 150,000 of those families through our Regional Food Distribution Network led by Restoration House Ministries NW;
• Daily ministries helping others 24/7. Call 206.906.9664;
• We organized The Jesus Center Coalition (JCC) with 16
loving, organizational partners working together to address poverty, homelessness, hunger, violence prevention, and small business owner support;
• Over $200,000 in rent assistance provided to families;
• $144,000 in Safeway gift cards distributed throughout the Puget
Sound region. $8,000 in Chevron gift cards also distributed
• Very active Ministries designed to help build community;
• In 2020, opened up the Computer Lab for the Homeless. New
computers and printer available Monday-Friday 10:00 am – 2 pm
at The Jesus Center
• The 10 Million Dollar Campaign, to assist, support and pour
back into families, individuals and community.
