Components of the ITIL® Framework
The ITIL® Core is composed of the 5 official publications of ITIL (Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement).
ITIL® Complimentary Publications are any pamphlets, documents, books, articles, or advice that enhances or builds upon the core guidance. Complementary guidance generally is viewed as modifying the core guidance to fit a particular market segment or situation.
