HONEY BUN CAKE
Cheryl Dyar
1 bx. yellow cake mix 3/4 C. oil
1 8-oz. ctn. sour cream 1 C. brown sugar
4 eggs 3 tsp. cinnamon (ground)
Mix all ingredients together and bake in 9x13” pan for 40 to 45 minutes at 325°.
Topping:
2 C. powdered sugar 6 to 8 T. milk
Mix until consistency on glaze and pour over cake while still hot.
RED VELVET CAKE

2 1/2 C. Red Band self-rising flour 1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 C. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 C. Wesson oil 3 lg. eggs
1 C. buttermilk 1 bot. red cake coloring
Mix all ingredients together and bake in 2 or 3 layer pans. Bake for 25 minutes at
350°.
Icing:
1 stick Blue Bonnet margarine 1 bx. powdered sugar
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 C. pecans
3 T. sour cream
Mix butter, cream cheese and sour cream (all at room temperature), then add
powdered sugar, nuts and, then ice cake.
