Science Club

“An organisation which caters for the inculcation of the scientific attitude and

genuine interest in science and also can supplement the work of the classroom and

give the syllabus a practical dimension” is called science club.

Science club is good platform for the students to realize their scientific aspiration and

fulfil their quest. It brings mentor, with a group of students to conduct fun and

engaging in scientific innovations.

The year started off well for the science club. Gahan M R of II A was selected as the

club secretary, and there after students of I & II PU science had an opportunity to

participate and got a good exposure in the field of science.

The club activities started with webinar conducted by CNR hall of science –

“Chemistry lecture program, in which our students participated enthusiastically. On

15 September, Sir M Visveswaraya’s birthday was celebrated as Engineer’s day. On
this occasion our principal Dr. Nalini G S gave power point presentation on,

Sir M Visveswaraya’s life achievement.

Series of webinar were held on science topics by resource persons from various

fields. Students participated and got benefited from it.

Even in pandemic Covid-19 situations our college conducted various science

competition like, lecture contest, collage, essay writing in which many students

participated through online Zoom platform and won prizes.
