Literary Club

“Literature speaks the language of imagination and the study of literature is supposed

to train and improve imagination”.

The Literary Club, “Sahithya Siri”, aims at fostering students love for reading and

creative thinking, conducting various literary activities in the college.

Our students Chaya Devi B K and Pradhyumna R of II PU have bagged Taluk level

First and Second Prize each in English Competition held on account of National
Voters day, conducted by PU Board.

Yamini C of I PU has secured second prize Bhagavat gita recitation competition held
in MES main College, Malleshwaram.

The Club conducted various online competitions like Essay writing, poetry writing,
creative writing which were a part of the Literary Club. Students also represented the

college at various inter-college and district level competitions.

Webinars were arranged where elite and distinguished guests under the leadership of

Dr. Nalini G S, Principal of our college.

These webinars enlightened the students about Sanskrit, Kannada, Hindi and English

topics which were of great benefit to our students.

Through the literary Club activities, the students get an opportunity to widen their

horizons of literature in many languages.
