Welcome to the start of an exciting new year!
While the 2020-2021 school year presents us with
some new and unique challenges, the entire
TBES staff eagerly await your return. Together,
we will continue to “Soar to New Heights”.
With a sustained emphasis on integrated
teaching and learning based on the Florida
State Standards, social and emotional skill
development, and recognition activities, this
school year promises to be filled with golden
opportunities for all of our students to thrive.
As we open this new school year, our first priority
is to maintain the health and safety of our
students, staff, and families. To ensure that our
students and families can transition back to
school comfortably, with a focus on learning, a
variety of health and safety measures have
been established for the start of this school year.
Please review the school reopening safety
procedures and protocols inside.

First Day of School
August 31st
First Day Prep
To minimize the number of visitors on campus,
we are encouraging families to use the variety
of on-line services to prep for the first week of
school (inside). The office will be open from 9am
-5:15pm from August 24 – August 28 for

families to pick up pre-ordered uniforms,
pre-ordered car tags and to drop off school
supplies and/or medications.
Virtual “Meet Your Teacher”
and Information Sessions
Families of students in Grades 1-5 will be
contacted by the assigned teacher to extend
the invite for the virtual “Meet the Teacher
th
Session” to be held on August 27 .
Kindergarten families will be contacted by the
assigned teacher to arrange for small group
information sessions and campus tour to be
held on August 27 . Please note the numbers of
th
participants will be limited.
Note: Due to Class Size limitations and enrollment fluctuations,
all classroom placements are “Tentative & Subject to Change”;
Specific teacher requests are not accepted.
Staggered Arrival for Week #1
Since families will not be able to escort students
to the classroom door, we are encouraging
families to utilize a staggered arrival for the first
week. This will allow staff time to greet and
escort students to the classroom.
Grades 2-5: Arrival between 8:10am-8:30am
Grades PreK-1: Arrival between 8:30am-8:50am
