CAMPUS RE-OPENING
SAFETY PROTOCOLS & PROCEDURES
As we prepare for the return to campus during this unprece-
dented time, maintaining the health and safety of our
students, staff and families remains a top priority. Through
much collaboration and with careful consideration, a wide
range of safety strategies and protocols will be implemented
in effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Please note, the safety procedures will be considered fluid
and will be adjusted as needed to promote a safe, healthy
learning environment.
All students and staff are required to wear a school appropriate face covering while
on campus or school provided transportation. (Face coverings may include mask, face
shield or both)
Students and staff are encouraged to stay home if they are feeling ill or have COVID
like symptoms.
Staff and students will be trained on school health and safety protocols including hand
washing, use/storage of face covering and sanitation of personal space.
Hand sanitizer stations were installed in high traffic areas around campus.
“Sanitize on the 7’s” will occur daily on campus as a reminder for staff and students to
sanitize/wash hands when in an appropriate setting
Signage has been posted throughout campus to provide reminders for safe distancing.
(i.e. directional arrows, wait here circles, sit here circles, face covering reminder)
Movement on campus will be in single file lines, with maximum safe distance between
students. Classroom lines will ‘stay to the right’ on sidewalks.
Shared water fountains are not accessible. Water bottle fill stations will be installed so
that students and staff may utilize their own refillable water bottle.
Additional custodial staff will be on campus during the instructional day to support
enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols around campus.
Visitors are not permitted on campus during the instructional day. Essential meetings
and required visitors will be scheduled/appointment only.
