STUDENT UNIFORM POLICY

Mandatory for ALL Students PreK-5

Due to Covid-19 safety protocols, ALL students will be required to wear a face
Face Covering covering while on campus & school provided transportation
Solid Uniform Color/non-distractive “preferred”
• Short or long-sleeved collared polo shirts or dresses with or without logo
Shirts/Tops • No button up shirts authorized

Shirt Colors: Gold, White, Light Pink, Light Blue, Navy Blue & Black

• Bottoms must be to mid-thigh with an inseam of 6 inches or more
Shorts, Pants, • Shorts are expected to be worn under skirts
Capris, Skirts, • Leggings (in solid uniform colors only) can be worn under bottoms
Skorts, Jumpers
• Leggings/jeggings/excessively tight bottoms may not be worn alone

Pant Colors: Khaki, Navy Blue, Black
(Solid blue jeans allowed ONLY on school SPIRIT Days)

• Closed toed/Fully enclosed shoes with a sole required.
Shoes/Sneakers • Must be tied or closed with Velcro straps

• Sneakers required on PE day(s)
Socks Required - Solid uniform colors “preferred” (Gold, White, Light Pink, Light Blue, Navy
Blue and Black)
Cold Weather • No restrictions on coats if they are removed in class
Clothes • Sweaters, sweatshirts & layered items worn in class must be a solid uniform color

School Spirit Days “Last Day of the Week” – In addition to regular uniform attire, solid blue jeans/denim
and any school spirit t-shirts are allowed
Free Days To be announced by administration

For Class Picture Days: Full uniform required
Picture Days Individual Picture Days: Students may dress out of uniform, but in full compliance with
dress code expectations

Field Trips Full uniform required on all field trips unless approved by administration

Random incentives to be distributed to encourage regular compliance

• 1 Offense: Call, note home & change into uniform attire
Enforcement • 2 Offense: Call, note home & change into uniform attire & loss of classroom

team intervention

Scholarships Applications for assistance are available from the Guidance Department and are
subject to approval (verification of eligibility required)

Logo uniform shirts can be purchased online or at Toledo Blade Elementary.
Uniform Shirt
Orders • The cost is $10.00 each or 3 for $25.00.
With Logo Non-logo shirts and bottoms in approved colors can be purchased at
the store of your choice if they meet specifications noted above.
