Javi nods toward Abigaile, who is standing quietly behind her mother.
Javi:
"I’m not talking about words. I’m talking about proof. Abigaile is living proof that children still exist,
despite the government's efforts to wipe them out. If we can show her to the public, reveal the truth
about the serum, we can turn the tide. The people of New-nesia need to see with their own eyes
what’s been hidden from them."
Dax narrows his eyes, looking at Abigaile. The weight of the plan sinks in, and he knows what Javi is
suggesting could either spark a revolution or get them all killed.
Dax:
"And you think showing one child is going to convince a whole city? What if they don’t believe you?
What if the government turns the people against us?"
Javi steps forward, his voice resolute.
Javi:
"They’ll have no choice but to believe. Once they see her, once they understand what’s really
happening, they won’t be able to look away. But we have to move quickly. The government will come
for us soon."
Dax: (studying Javi closely)
"You’re serious about this."
Javi:
"I’ve already crossed the line. There’s no going back now."
Dax is silent for a moment, then he nods slowly.
Dax:
"Alright. We’ll help you. But if this goes sideways, it’s all on you, Javi."
