To my future self,
Hi! I am writing this letter to myself after 10 years. It is currently 2021 and I am fourteen. I think you still remember the
pandemic. It’s been 2 years since Covid-19 came out. If you don’t remember yourself 10 years ago, let me tell you.
I’m a ninth grader at New Era International Laboratory School, and I am about to have braces.
It’s been tough because I’m learning IGCSE lessons. Every day I woke up and thought, “I wish I could sleep more”. In
the morning I am like a zombie because I am half asleep after I woke up.
I’m playing volleyball much better than before, and I’m learning basketball. I learned how to solve Rubik's cube this
summer and now I’m addicted to it, but it’s still tough to live like this. I’m always afraid that I will be able to attend
university. So, did you attend university? And if you did, what university did you attend? Graduation is one of the
biggest problems for me because I still want to be close to my friends, even after graduation. But I know it is
troublesome to keep the relationship between my friends after graduation. Tell me, how close are you to your
friends?
Is something interesting or awful happened in the last few years?
That’s it for now. I hope you are living fine. I hope you will be someone amazing. I will try my best to be superior to
who I’m now.
