Live your Life
Hi
First of all, happy 26th birthday. It is funny that this letter might sound like it came from someone else, but
it's from your past, me, a 16-year-old Tergel.
How are you? Actually, there are tons of questions I want to ask you. Is it scary to be an adult? Like
making decisions yourself and living on your own, in fact, as I write, I am excited and afraid of growing up
and not being a teenager anymore. Did you study at the best university? Are you doing your dream job?
Did you meet your soulmate? Whoever you became, I am very glad and proud that you have already
gone through all of the hard times.
So now let’s talk about me a little bit. Today is November 3rd and in the last few weeks of taking the
IGCSE exam, I'm really tired and stressed, but I'm doing my best to make my future self, you, live without
any regrets. Also, I have spent most of my time in the library after school began that I started to feel a
little lonely so I am trying my best to socialize and make new friends.
My goal now is to become a doctor and become rich. When I get rich, I will build a medical van, recruit
more doctors, travel around the world, and help not only people but also animals that do not have access
to medical care.
Basically, I have a really big dream to make the world a better place to live in.
I hope you will understand the only reason I wrote this is because I hope that you still have this desire.
In the end, I believe that you confronted your fears, smashed your insecurities, and loved yourself for
who you are. And you took challenges and were never afraid of taking a risk and believed in yourself and
gave all that you could to your family, friends, and those you care for. Also, I hope you are becoming
successful in your career, life, as well as your goals and, most importantly, enjoying your life in every little
thing.
Thank you for reading my letter. Always remember you are me and I am you.
Sincerely,
From younger you in 2021
Tergel
