Daisy Dew winked and said, “Just
walk forward.”
Craig looked down at
his big feet and took a step.
Surprisingly, he was no longer standing
on a leafy tree branch! Instead,
he was standing in a long
tunnel.
“Wow!” he said.
“It’s fairy magic!” called out Claudia. She was holding the Travel Bug
and running around in the tunnel. “We’ve all been shrunk to fairy-size!”
Daisy Dew laughed as she took their hands and led them through the
tunnel. When they came out the other end, Craig and Claudia gasped. There
was a large fairy village sitting in the treetops. It was made up of colorful
homes and shops, and busy fairies were ?ying all around it.
“Welcome to Fairy Land!” announced Daisy Dew. “Come on, I’ll
show you around.” She led the travelers across a bridge to the nearest
shop. They went inside and were greeted by a very important-
looking fairy wearing a long brown cloak.
“Good Afternoon,” said the fairy.
“I am Lord Lobeil, the translator
of Fairy Land. My main jobs
are to welcome all visitors
and to talk with the bees
and trade for their honey.”
“You know how to speak
‘Bee’?” asked Craig.
