In-Person Survey (IPS) 2020-21 COVID-19 SUPPLEMENT
The COVID supplement is a series of 22 questions that ask about people's experiences during COVID, their daily lives, and how they interacted
with services. The COVID environment – things like restrictions around gathering, using remote technology rather than in-person services, and
using protective equipment – may be very different in each state and may change throughout the survey cycle.
To the best of your ability, please use the language and tenses that best describe where your state is in terms of the COVID environment, for

We explain this in the survey tool as well:
Please try to adapt wording of questions to reflect the current experience of the person being surveyed. For example, if the
person is still experiencing effects of the coronavirus lock-down, and the written question says: “During COVID time, did you
use….” please change the wording to “During COVID time, have you used….”
