      Klemheist Knot



        A variation of the Prusik Knot
       (see pp.228–29) that can be used
        for moving up or down a climbing rope.
        Soft tubular climbing tape
        can be used to form the sling.
        The rope used to form the
        sling should be at least half
        the diameter of the main rope.
