I got a chance to develop personal skills, and interacted with
the community. I gained experience in radio broadcasting,
and gained other skills which can be useful in other careers. It
showed me the importance of being open minded, now I have
some radio experience due it.

THE SPORTS HOUR

Brimbank Live provided a great new branch for me in radio. It’s
opened up my eyes to radio hosting and a potential new pathway in
media. It taught me how to speak more clearly and construct
conversations so they are more insightful.

Through learning new skills in radio hosting and life in the media
industry, Brimbank Live has made me better prepared for a career in
media. My eyes have opened up to investigating real life issues and
focusing on these important areas of life rather than the more
general, clique parts. A shout out must go out to the Brimbank City
Council for giving young people the opportunity to learn and
perform skills in radio.
